Serving our communities since 1988

What we do for our Community

The Person to Person Help Trust was established in 1988 by the Kaiapoi Baptist Church as a vehicle to engage, connect and support the local community. Opening a child care centre over twenty years ago the Trust has now grown to include Rivertown Cafe and the Options Clothing store.

These social enterprises help fund a community coordinator, and a wide variety of programmes, services and events for the area.

  • Waka Iti a playgroup for parents and young children held at 67 Fuller Street Kaiapoi

  • Monday Mingle

  • Fuller Kai - Weekly cooked lunch and socialising event every Friday at the Kaiapoi Baptist Church.

Parental, marriage and health courses are run on an as need basis as we continue to evolve and meet the needs of our community.

With a team of over thirty volunteers and employees our motivation and values remain unchanged. To follow in the footsteps of Jesus loving and serving people in the community.
